Autumn has arrived (and so has Chocolate season)
Autumn always sneaks up on me. One week I’m still pretending summer might linger; the next, I’m halfway up Bennachie, watching the hills fade into that warm, smoky bronze, and realising it’s officially chocolate season again.
This year’s CocoCaramel Autumn Collection is built around that moment- the gentle shift into cosiness. It’s full of the flavours I crave when the days shorten: buttery caramels, soft spices, a little sweetness, and a lot of comfort.
As always, each piece is handmade in Aberdeenshire, crafted in small batches- because that’s what we do best here: handmade chocolate, with care, patience, and a dash of indulgence.
A Little Bit of Home in Every Bite
This year, my favourite in the collection has to be the Spiced Toffee Apple Caramel Chocolate. Made from with apples from my garden- see below for how gorgeous they looked! Once they’re simmered down with muscovado sugar they're folded through our signature caramel, and finished with a pinch of cinnamon. It’s nostalgic without being overly sweet - a reminder of autumn fairs and bonfire nights, minus the sticky fingers and chaos.
That’s actually probably what I love most about caramel chocolates: they hold stories. In each one, I can capture a tiny moment- a scent, a feeling, a memory you can actually taste.

Pumpkin Spiced Orange Solid Chocolate
Bright orange and warm spice — smooth, comforting, and a little unexpected.
Raspberry ‘Eyeball’ Caramel in White Chocolate
Playful and just a bit cheeky — a Halloween wink wrapped in sweetness.
Spiced Toffee Apple Caramel in Gold Chocolate
Handmade with garden apples, muscovado sugar, and cinnamon — cosy, rich, and purely autumn.
Sticky Toffee Caramel in Milk Chocolate
Classic comfort in its smoothest, most buttery form.
Each one’s a little piece of Scottish chocolate craftsmanship — indulgent yet grounded, made slowly and thoughtfully in Aberdeenshire.
Trick or Treat?
I had two moods in mind when creating this range: cosiness and fun.
Something you could bring along to a dinner party, add to a Halloween treat board, or keep quietly for yourself when the evenings draw in.
Each treat bag is filled with artisan caramel chocolates, so they're naturally a thoughtful gift and an elevated trick or treaters bowl. The Halloween four box is a nice discovery set with a bit of fun to beat the summer blues, while the Autumn set is simply decadent and indulgent- ready for when you've fully embraced the inside, fire on, blanket kind of evenings.
